The Things Left Out in Horse Care Books

I'm sure we have all bought them horse books that make horse keeping seem so easy, but after actually owning horses, these books miss a lot of the key details of horse ownership!

Like how much a single horse can actually poop, or how horses can find the teeniest things to get hurt on.

What do you think these books missed? This should get interesting

I've seen some with it in them, but none with caution that most horses don't like their willies touched without work.

In one book I had on training it didn't mention anything about the downright "special" horses is how I would put it. This horse I have now lunges great, with voice commands but as soon as you're on his back, I swear his eyes start swirling and he goes into stupid mode.
Stichy likes this.

My "complete" horse owners book never mentioned getting their teeth floated.
