Well the owner that had him when he was 2 sold him. I have a copy of the sale add from the internet. They said that he was one of the smartest horses they'd ever worked with and that they though he would do well racing or barrel racing but no one ever raced him again.

Yeah I would think so too but on my horse's papers the part that tells who has owned the horse is blank! I know he's had at least two owners before me but he could have had more. My sister's horse's papers tell all of his owners. I might be able to find them on the AQHA website but you probably have to pay for it :(
