Transferring a horse to my name

Ok i need to transfer my palomino QH to my name. I will transfer her to AQHA and palomino horse breeders of america PHBA. what do i need to do to get her transferred. I have the forms for both AQHA and PHBA with the previous owners signature and information but what do i have to do now? what all do i have to send in?

Contact the registries. They will tell you what to send and where.

Make sure that you photo copy all your paperwork before you send it off... it took a couple months for ownership of our paint mare to be transferred to us, so we were glad that we had the backup papers in case APHA had questions.

For AQHA, all you need is listed at the top of the transfer report form.
