Trying to identify a brand

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask this, if there is a better place please let me know. I bought this horse several years ago in Junction, Texas. He has a circle J-P brand and i was wondering if anyone was familiar with this brand. He is a pure bred Missouri fox trotter and i want to see if i can track his papers. I've checked kimble county's brand database and i could not find it. I am not even sure if he was bred in Texas. The previous owner got him from a rescue, and im not sure which one. I can not find the previous owner to ask anymore questions.

I can't help in information on who's brand it is, but just wanted to add that to me, it looks like the brand is JHP not J-P. May help in your search.

I think that brand says JHP. Try looking again with that.

It looked like a brand of a few horses I use to work with in Wyoming. I google circle JHP and this came up http://nsla.nevadaculture.org/statep...0suppl2002.pdf the brand registered to Jack adn Pam Larason of Lamoille Nevada looks sort of like your horses.

Not their brand, left hip cattle, not left shoulder horse and no circle.

There are well over 250 counties in Texas and each one registers there own brands. Good luck. Shalom
