Talking Update! New barn!

Ok so I had posted a thread about my now old barn owner and the fact that he was in fore-closer and being very mean about it. Please go and read the other thread if you'd like. So we found this amazing barn that is still under construction but works out perfect for my horse and I. This barn is going to be amazing when it's done. They also have the option to move your horse to a cooler climate during the summer, which is amazing for us because my horse has foundered twice and are vet informed us that he won't last another summer like the last. We did not give him a thirty day notice, he did not tell us that he was fore closing and is a very hostile man. We worried for are horse's safety if we gave him thirty days. For instances he let all the air out of a trailer that was going to be hauling horse's the next day and has said some very upsetting things
about other past/present boarders horse's wellbeing. We called him the night before to tell him we were leaving but that we did not know when because at the time we didn't know when. We went and signed papers later that night and decided that the next day would work for everyone. I went down to my
barn around 7:45a.m. to get everything packed and my horse ready to haul.
I put everything I could fit in my car, in my car. Then got my horse ready in
his hauling halter and boots. Now the owner was out the entire time having his morning routine with his buddies, but he ignored me the entire time. Like looked right through me, when I said goodmorning he didn't say a word. So my hauler gets there and my boyfriend went to open the gate. Well the owner saw this and went off. Yelling at me and cussing at me. F you, F your family, Get the F off my property, Just horrible things like that. I believe he said the F word at least 7 times in one sentence along with some other choice words. What kind of man cusses out a 17 year old girl? Well I loaded Beau, got the rest of my stuff and left, He flipped me off as we pulled away!
-Fast Forward to the new barn-
I unloaded Beau expecting him to me lookie and jumpy and whatnot. He was a saint, totally calm. He didn't look at anything and walked calmly around the place. I put him in his stall and he said "hi" to the other horse's and then rolled. I couldn't believe it, He's never done that at all. He seems soooo happy here. So calm, He nickers at me every night.

Cookies for you all who read this! :]

Glad you found a new place that you like.

Can you explain the moving the horse to a cooler climate when it is really hot thing? I am confused.
They move your horse to another state or something in the summer?

Yeah they have another barn up north that they will haul them up there for the summer and then bring them back when summer leaves. It's a really nice place. So it works out great.
