In addition to what the others have said, don't TRY to sell your horse. Talk to them about the good points and bad points, but do it conversationally - don't act like a used car salesman trying to sell something. Forcing yourself on a buyer (not that you would) turns a lot of people off. If your horse is priced right he will sell himself to a reasonable buyer that is looking for his type horse...

Oh, and if he sells, everyone that responds to you in this thread should get $10. I appreciate it...

Guys, Great news- he has been sold pending payment, deposit has been taken. :) Hewi went wonderfully today and although was full of beans (for lack of better word) his new owner(15 year old) stuck like glue and was not too fazed by his little pigroot. Oooo you guys would have seen me beam with pride over how well behaved he was considering the circumstances. I think i have a video also ill post ...(just waiting for it to be sent from phone to email address- ill post this in here also ) ..oooo and to top it all off the place that i agist at offered the boy a riding job excercising the horses that they have :)
There was only one downer for the day - one of agistment owners aged gelding died of colic - he went down so quick and it was horrible - no amount of vet help could have saved this boy, i didnt get to him quick enough :(-

His is apart of you, he is your horse.
