Around here I'm more worried about bears *shudder*. My husband says I'm nuts but I'm horribly afraid of bears coming on the property
Maybe they could hurt themselves if they kick it wrong - chip or crack a bone? That's the only negative I could think of. On the whole it sounds safer and longer lasting than your average fence.
I can't think of anything negative about having a wall instead of a fence.
Great find!!

It is not enough to know how to ride; one must know how to fall.
I love the idea that the walls are made out of old tires - what an ingenious way to recycle! And if it's just stuccoed over, then even if a horse kicks it, the tire bounces them out. You might have to patch every now and then, but I could live with that!
I would dearly love to have a wall! Keep neighbor critters out, keep my critters in, keep prying eyes to a minimum too!
actually, that sounds great
i cant think of a problem. but you could always ask the last owners if they ever had an issue

I'd love to see pics. I have a friend in Tx that has 5 acres walled with stone and it is thick enough at one point that there is an apartment (tiny) that was once lived in. It was there when they bought it and we referred to it as Sherwood Forest because of the Oaks inside. The apt was turned into a work/laundry area.
