Went to the tack store and almost died...

I went with my mom looking for a present for my sister and everything. was. on. sale. EVERYTHING and it was all so cheap and of course... mom wouln't let me stay long enough to buy anything for myself, ack. It's odd how you find 10 more things you "need" when you're just browsing the store.
Sometimes I hate Christmas shopping.

I LOVE going to the tack store. The smell of new leather, the jingle of all those fancy bits, the starched show clothes . . .
My friend says she is a "tack *****", I guess I am too1

Heehee there used to be a tack shop right by my house and the lady loved me. I never walked in there without her giving something for free or like a 50% discount. And she always had an excuse for her other customers :) 'Oh Leah, its your forst horse? discount, free this. First foal. Discount, free that. Your horse died and you got a new one? Everything is free. My grandparents went in to buy me a christmas present a few years ago and she said- oh yuour leahs grandparent? Buy something half off and I'll throw in something free as my gift to her. Haha I loved her and I am so sad she sold it so she could spend more time with her horses.
