I believe in one God: God. I know there are other little 'g' gods or 'idols' that people beleive in, but I do not beleive in them. They are clay. A piece of clay did not make us IMO. And yes, I beleive that the ones that worship blindly had no Bible in their hands when they decided to worship a piece of clay ;)

The clay is a representaion of their gods. They don't worship the statue, but the deity it was created to represent.

So you believe that some religions are based on falsehoods? I just find this interesting. I view all religion with a fair dose of scepticism. I may believe one day, but not today. So do you accept that some people view your religion as a falsehood, just as you view others?

See why I didn't want to say anything? I've been around enough to know that certain people refuse to have their minds changed on this issue. It's no good arguing with them.

While we're at it though, I kind of wish that North America was divided into a "blue" country and a "red" country like I once saw in a comedy sketch. That way I wouldn't have to deal with those people. The only problem is they would have no controls on pollution and it would eventually spill over into my country.

I would make myself a billionaire so I could build a huge equine estate and rescue slaughter bound and ex-racing horses. And so I could put both my horses in dressage training.

I would also make myself the sovereign ruler of the world just so I could come down hard on criminals and dramatically reduce the crime rates. Heehee. But seriously, if it was up to me, anyone who deliberately harms an animal would get an automatic death penalty, no questions asked. Abuse and neglect are two things I have zero tolerance for.

And lastly, I would end world hunger and disease for everyone, including all animals.

First of all, I think it's ridiculous to hope that everybody has one religion or 'creed' in life. I love the diversity of our world. I'm a Christian but Christianity isn't for some people and that's fine.

Anyways, three things:

1) Tolerance
2) Empathy (I think someone else mentioned this)
3) Non-Judgement

I think if we had these three things, we'd be alright. :)

Ok. So I'm just going to all of a sudden beleive there is no God?

Uhhuh. Right..

You beleive what you beleive and I beleive what I beleive. No one will ever be able to turn [us] from our beleifs. For me, God is something that I will probably always beleive, whether or not I choose to or not.

Let's seriously take a break from the religion debate. All it does is ruffle feathers... Not fun :/

I will have this thread deleted if it goes further. I made this thread to hear other's thoughts on what needs to be changed. Not religion. There is another thread for that. Or you can pm or make your own. There's also a HorseChat.

Now, what would you change if you could? Don't want this thread to die quite yet.

Hmm.. I'd move all my butt to my boobs. Boobs need help; unfortunately I've got plenty to spare on my butt. I have a huge butt.
