What do you look for in a feed company?

So! I am writing yet another paper on my path to some sort of college degree and it is a compare and contrast type paper. And I would like you guys to help me figure out some criteria to compare the feed companies against each other.

I am not looking for what you feed or why you feed that particular feed I am looking at what made you choose that feed company other than because you like their product.... If it helps I have put in a short story to help you see the same kind of mind frame.

So a new feed store is moving into your area to replace all of the other places you buy feed. They are reaching out to the local horse owners to see what feed company they should sign a contract with based on what that particular feed company offers with their lines and to the community. Since they are only choosing one company to sell feed in their store they want to make sure they choose the company who can cover the most of the consumers needs. What would you tell the feed store to look for in that particular company?

(lol my bestie said if that company distrubes coupons and shes happy)

Make sense? I appreciate any of your equestria-incite.

Locally owned and milled to support our farmers. That's the only feed line(s) we buy.

* Published, fixed formula
* Published, low NSC
* Thorough guaranteed analysis- not just the items that are legally required, but the ones that help me make an actual analysis of my horse's nutrient intake
* Price is important up to a point, but I don't mind paying a little more for higher quality
