I'd do some with the pali and some with on of the bays (personally, I'd pick the TB)...sometimes it's not until you see the pictures that what looks best is revealed.

Unbraided! They look some much better natural, IMO.

There is no sport like barrel racing. It requires more speed than a sprinter, more balance than a gymnast, more grace than a dancer, and a stronger team than football.

I would definitely say the palomino. Keep his mane natural if it is in good condition but if it is scraggly and half rubbed out braiding might be better.
I plan photo shoots for my palomino gelding so I have done a lot of experimenting with colors. Pastels and white look beautiful and whimsical on palominos. (but that is more a spring time theme) Classy cream and black English show attire looks elegant, so does cream and chocolate colors. I find blues clash horribly with palominos (pastels and teal are the exceptions) Red and black look harsh but can make for a bad-*** fall foliage shoot.
It's all up to you and the look you want :)
