I do all of the above. We horse people really embarrass ourselves put in the non-horse world, lol.

We don't embarrass ourselves, the other people simply just don't have the intellectual ability that we do:)

Ok...thought of another one, I think about leg yielding when I'm walking around campus and visualize how I'd cue the reins as if that'll help me on the horse haha.

Sometimes I want to canter throughout the halls at school.

I do so many horsey things in the non-horsey world. When on a long road trip I look out the window and pretend I'm riding and jumping all of the farmers fences and roads, when I'm falling asleep or I'm at school bored I tend to 'ride', I hold a leash like I hold the reins, and I always tell people 'Whoa' when I want them to stop.

I frequently cluck to my kids when I want them to hustle up. And I "canter" down the grocery aisle when I am pushing my cart. I will also "blow" like a horse, so realistically you'd swear it was a horse, when releasing tension during a game of badminton.

If my friends aren't walking fast enough, I cluck to them. By most used quote to people, "Whoa easy now easy. You're fine." which are the words I use to settle down my horse. Walking down the hallway in school, their was this guy who had the biggest stride ever and I said to my friend, "I'd like to ride something like that." After I said it I realized how sexual it sounded. Anytime someone tries to explain things to me, I put it in horse terms after they said it so I understand...and if I'm explain something to someone, I use horse terms. Its crazy.

To see the wind's power, the rain's cleansing, and the sun's radiant life, one need only to look at the horse.

I took my friend who also rides for her first time skiing last year. At one point she got out of control and skied down the hill without me until she got to a flat spot and stopped. When I got there, she apologized for taking off without me. I asked her, "What are you afraid my skis are going to panic and run off after you?" I thought she was gonna bust a gut.

You just have to see your distance...you don't have to like it.

I cluck A LOT. Perfect example: If I'm with friends at stop lights and they aren't paying attention, I'll cluck at them when the light turns green to tell them to go. I do it so often that they've gotten used to it...
