I run around the house doing tempi changes a lot. So fun.

I say horse commands to my dog. Walk, trot, canter, ho, he understands them all! He doesn't know how to lunge and it makes me sad. Dogs get so confused. He looks at me as if to say "...why are you pushing my stomach? I'm so confused."

I also have a lot of trouble understanding certain things without them being in horsey terms. I also find myself practicing a proper half halt (thighs, butt, and abs all tightened, and sometimes your upper back too) during class. People get confused.

The worst is when you're watching a movie and the riders have AWFUL position! It bothers me. PUT YOUR FREAKING HEELS DOWN.

I forgot about something a woman I know did a few years ago. She was registering her son for his first year of school. For sex of child, she put a G for gelding!!! She didn't realize she did it until the schooled called her to ask about it.

You just have to see your distance...you don't have to like it.

I hope her son isn't a gelding...At that young age? Poor boy!

All I have to say is... I'm glad I'm not alone! Tehe

I cluck at everyone, it always seems to irritate them... But I don't understand why! I will randomly start to trot/canter around the house. Uh, I will start talking about horses randomly. I bring them up just about every chance I get (half the time I don't even realize it). My dog is trained with voice commands that are, "Whoa, walk, trot, canter, gallop, easy." The list goes on and on....

If I'm watching a movie with horses in it, I will start to say snarky things about their riding. ****es my friends off sooooo much. AHAHA!

Man, it felt really good to get that all off my chest. xD

Me too!!!

I don't understand why they get mad because I'm pointing out the flaws of their riding abilities! Maybe someday they'll be chasing after a bad guy and randomly jump on a police horse, and they'll be glad I pointed out the mistakes that guy in the movie made.

Same! When I'm watching movies I say things like:

"That's clearly not the same horse!"
"That isn't a mare! That's a gelding! How can a gelding have a foal?"
"Since when do horses whinny eveytime they see someone or something?"
