What hurts worse ? My pride or my my shoulder?

Well I was looking forward all week to a nice ride today ! I loaded up and took my horses to the park for a nice fall ride and I got the fall part right-- Sparky , my horse that I have spent much time and energy and not to mention money on bolted on as soon as my seat hit the saddle-- well I manged to get a handle on the bolting part- but he bucked me off soon after-- I did stay on longer than 8 seconds- but I was airborne right after him twisting in half after a shy high jump - (his landing was a little rough)
I did still have my reins in my hand after I hit the ground. Well -- I am still trying to figure out "what happened?" other than being bucked off?
I lunged him in the round pen first-- he has proper fitting tack- I just dont know And now I 'm not sure if I want to keep him- I am thinking sell, sell. sell, sell. sell before you really get hurt - 3rd time in 3 years that he has done this for no apparent cause! I am thinking I have to much horse!
