My qh is coming 7, I have her since she was 1.5, and I'm her 3rd owner (technically 1st as she was unhandled).

My paint is 6 and I'm her 2nd owner (I got her directly from the breeder as a yearling, also technically 1st as she was wild).

Nelson is 21 now, and he has gone through a lot throughout his life. I am owner # 7 and his last. When I got him, I promised him that we were going to be together, till "death do us part" and I meant it! He's my baby, my beloved and my "other man* lol.

1) He went from the track,
2) To a TB buyer who buys them cheap, turns them around and sells them
for a profit
3) Then he was sold to a very reputable Hunter/Jumper in the area and was his
horse for quite some time. He went A Circuit with him and was a lesson
horse and such n such.
4) Then he was sold to a student of his, and she owned him for a while but
then had to leave for college and her parents sold him.
5) To a Dressage Guru in my area, and she took him 3rd level dressage. He
couldn't go any further, so she sold him
6) To a student of hers, who is an Eventer and she and he went Prelim. He got
"too old" for her and wanted a fresh off the track 2 year old, and then he
became mine
7) Moi :)

Beau, 11 years old:
1) Breeder
...Don't know how many owners here...
2) People my trainer bought him from
3) My trainer
4) Me, since 2004

Daisy, 18 years old:
1) Running Luck, Inc.
2) California '97
3) Arizona '97
4) '98 sale
5) Nebraska '99
6) Iowa '99
7) North Dakota '99
8) Oregon '99
9) Arizona '99
10) Oregon (No date)
11) Montana '00
12) Virginia '02
13) My trainer '05
14) Me, in Maryland, since 2009
Wow, I never realized how many owners she had... the joys of running claiming races. She's done more traveling than I have!

Cavalina, 2 years old:
1) My trainer/her breeder
2) Me, since 2009

Beau's definitely not going anywhere, he's stuck with me for life ;)
Daisy's hopefully going to live out retirement with us. And Cav will hopefully make it as my next event horse, if she doesn't like to event... then she may be finding herself living in a more suitable show home, we have to wait & see.

And yes, I bought all 3 of my horses from my old trainer.

Timmy 4yrs old, I'm his 3rd owner. Bred to be a stud, halter horse. Failed at that, so his breeder gelded and sold him to a trainer who started him and then sold him to me.

Delfi my 8ish QH, no idea I would guess a LOT. I know I am at least her 4th but as she came very neglected from someone who lied through their teeth about her, who knows.

I didn't really elaborate on Flash's owners, I suppose I shall now!

1) His breeders, who took him to the track to be trained. He wasn't meant for racing, so they gave him to..
2) A girl who was working at the track for the breeders, this girl I happened to have known (leased a horse from her previously) and while she owned him I rode him a couple of times. She got pregnant and had to sell him, she sold him to
3) A "sort-of" friend of #2 who left him to sit in her field for a couple of months doing nothing with him because (according to #2) he wouldn't move when she sat on him. I guess they didn't click. She put him for sale and I bought him.
4) Me, and I plan to keep him for the remainder of his life.

I think I am around Buzz 5/6th owner

1)breeder/Racing not to sure if they would be the same one
2)I think he was then used for leading he has a wonderful temperment or maybe the horses to encourage the other ones to go faster
3)polo home at 4 years old
4)they then sold him to another polo person
5) he then went to a barrel racing lady
6)my friend then got him didn't really like him
7)then me

I don't want him to go to another home, want him to stay with me for ever and a day lol.

Abby will be 8 in June and I'm her 4th owner.

1) Breeder had her for 3 years
2) A guy who had her for, I think, about 2 weeks. He did some power training to get her ready for an auction. She is still terrified of lunge whips.
3) A older lady who had her for the past 4 years and used her as a trail horse, but then decided she only really used her old sorrel mare and didn't need her anymore.
4) Mee. I've had her since September.
