As I have grown older (not sure wiser) I have become a bit fussy about when I ride. Wind is fine, gentle rain or heavy mist is okay, 90 and over means riding early or much later in the day and winter riding is almost a no go for me. Lots of water on the trails means lots of ice, not willing to injure myself or my horse.
Also, for some strange reason, I have become very nervous when a thunderstorm kicks up (not so much the thunder, but the lightning is it for me).
No indoor, so truly at the mercy of the elements. And the bugs!
Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the floor each morning the devil says, "Oh crap, she's up!".
