We're planning to buy a truck at the end of the year. Right now, if we need to haul Acey anywhere, it's a 40 minute drive to my inlaws to get their F250, then past our house and 20 more minutes to the stable to hook up the trailer and load the horse. When we are done we have to reverse that trip. So, just under 4 hours of drive time JUST to have the truck and trailer.

This was my hubby arguement when we went to buy our truck, "someday you'll have 5 or 6 horses & I need a big enough truck to pull a full size trailer for you" He got an F-350
Cowgirl up!
Just got home. It was a lot of running around, but sooo worth it. J & Odie were great. she did such a good job, & actually pushed herself past her comfort zone. So that in itself made all the running worth it!
Hubby is seriously considering a truck large enough to pull our trailer. The big issue if we get one, is who's going to get to drive it. I say me, I haul the kids around,LOL!

Busy, I wish my mom were more like you! She could care less about my hobbies, let alone be willing to participate.
Kudos for giving your daughter the opportunity to do that. She's a VERY lucky girl!

Yesterday I got up at 5:30, took kids to school for 7, to one barn to pick up a friend, our barn (which is at inlaws) to feed my babies...then drop off other child at her school then to my school for work till 3:30. 4:00 saw me dropping oldest, horse and trailer for dressage schooling, then 20 miles to dance with youngest till 8, back to barn to get kid and horse, drop off feed and home to finish homework by 10:30 and sleep.
Good gracious I love these kids.
Today was just lesson, no dance...tomorrow move to show and Saturday show, where I will jump judge.
