My gelding ALWAYS farts when I go to pick his back left hoof. He knows I move back and wait a second to make sure he isn't going to poop on my head before I ask for his foot again and he will just turn is head and stare at me...he's such a snot. He will even leave his foot relaxed and wait for me to pick it up again. It has just become part of the routine because the one time I decide not to back up, will be the day he poops on my head lol

My gelding Red is such a quirky boy and loves to see what he can get away with. He gets bored very easily, and if I ever stopped him while I was riding to talk to someone or whatever he would promptly turn his head around and bite at my boot.

Ha ha, Kayella - my boys do that too, just the thing is that the boarder chases my horse off to get pets and hugs and all the food

Teddy occasionally swats me with his tail, and also farts in my face when picking his hind feet. He will also occasionally decide he does not like me anymore and try to walk away when I am trying to catch him, even though normally he catches me.
My horse does not do bratty things, he loves me, but all the things he does out of the ordinary are because he is still not used to everything.

Bit me on the arm from which I still have a scar.

One time we were visiting the neighbors ranch and a few of us were sitting on our horses. I was bareback on Hunter and he kept trying to eat the grass and I kept saying no so eventually he just went down on his knees with me still on him and proceeded to eat the grass. He was a pretty smart pony.
