I find it both frightening and certainly puzzling, that some think her videos are great.

There are so many good videos on Youtube for people to follow where things are done correctly by people with experience in their field yet these are ignored to follow a teenager spouting her mouth off on all matters horse where she shows her ignorance.

Can any of you that find her great please enlighten me what is great about her?

I think its more about them seeing someone who is there own age. Its less about the quality of the message but about the messenger.

I totally agree with that statement.
How on earth does she make all that money ruining other peoples horses???
The trainer I have started training at 14 but alongside a great trainer and she now has a good 40+ years under her belt. She is really great and amaZing but I think Raleigh thinks she knows it all and you can never know everything about a horse. Never.

There are far better teenage/young equestrians on YT, this girl is just ridiculous. This girl is far better: https://www.youtube.com/user/EddiesGun91/featured

I definatley have to agree with this. I haven't really gotten any tips on riding from her videos. Honestly now that I think about it I don't really enjoy her videos as much as I used to. I will be looking for some new horse people on youtube.

She isn't someone I would look up to. She can't ride well and is generally uneducated about horse tack. Like others have said, there are some great trainers on YouTube. Even young ones. She isn't one of them.

Not to mention she never stays on topic and is always jumping for one thing to another. She doesn't seem to focused.
I think maybe if she were to make a list of things to talk about during her videos it would help and if she did a bit more research.

When you get older and have a lot more years of experience under your belt you realize that you knew little to nothing when you were the age of that young girl - you also have changed your mind many many times over based on your experiences and see that the things you did that seemed cool were actually very stupid or very irresponsible.

I'm not gonna rag on her a lot because she's a child but on a lot of her videos I rolled my eyes. I happened across her leasing video and I wondered if she even knew that there were many different forms of leasing. A lot of her videos were like that. I agree, there are other, more talented riders her age.

Just like lots of other teen horse "experts". She has a lot of big opinions but does not have the years of experience, mistakes, and humbling situations that older riders/trainers have had. She's just using a very public forum to voice those opinions as loudly as possible.

Many young people like to feel like they are looked up to, or authoritative about something. It gives them a sense of control and power, which is quite addictive to someone who really does not have any in their lives. Here they are, not even in college, but they are giving advice to thousands on a world-wide scale! Whether or not it is GOOD advice remains to be seen.

Time and experience humbles many an opinionated person!
