2004 Grade Appy in Oregon, USA

Offering Chief for sale to a good home only. He is a 10 year old grade appaloosa gelding standing at 14 hh. He is plenty stout and well built enough to carry large adults. Has been used to pack game in the past. Extensive trail miles and started in English dressage and some jumping which he is enthusiastic about.

Chief is a fabulous, forward gelding who would be best suited to an ambitious intermediate rider looking to move up with a project. He is very intelligent and learns quickly but does need a firm hand to give him confidence. I could see him being very happy in a pony club, 4H or OHSET situation getting consistent work.

He is completely sound, tough feet never need shoes, and is thrifty and an easy keeper. Loads and travels well. Easy to vaccinate and deworm. Well behaved and easy to handle.

I might be interested. I'm in pony club and on the border of Washington and Oregon. I will let you know if the horse I am looking at works. Would you maybe do lease to buy? Thanks :)

Nice. I graduated from pony club a number of years ago and I still am SO happy I was in it. What club are you in? I used to ride up in that area quite a bit. What level are you at (just curious, really).

For the right fit I would absolutely do a lease to buy, and I consider PC'ers a great home.
