There is a reason why department stores play music and have this or that light. It's not about tricking the buyer, it's about showing your pearls on a velvet pillow rather than a messy kitchen table.
Sure there is always an emotional aspect to selling anything. Here, for the target audience, it would be that the horse is 4 yo and is able to do as much as it has, is calm/gentle under saddle without warmup (which will be in the written ad), moves free/easy, has shown and placed against older/more experienced horses (which will be in the written ad). The horse people I know who are looking for higher end horses definitely have an emotional aspect to it, but they are not looking for that in the ad or video since they are paying a lot for a horse and essentially "just want the facts". After passing a vet check (which is way after the initial video is viewed), then they start getting emotional, LOL.

I understand what you're saying and not discounting it. Just think we are looking at it from a different perspective.

I don't like still photos in videos. Attach those separately so I can look at them as long as I need to. If its a photo I'm not interested, then I get impatient waiting for the next part of the video. Some of the stills/photos were taken at the wrong moment, too.

The whole thing seems long. 10min is too much. Cut it down to basic wtc both ways, showing transitions between gaits. Then another few minutes demonstrating special abilities. Also, no slow motion.

One thing about the music, some buyers like to listen to the original sound because they can listen for foot falls and groans and snorting and stuff.

When I make sale ads, it's 2-3 photos: 1 conformation, 1 movement, 1 artistic. Video is short and sweet, showing basics. Minimal editing. Text and is 3 paragraphs: basic stats and description, resume and any training, location price and other misc things.

The video aside @kewpalace
If I were horse shopping, I would make notes of what I didn't see to ask questions on a follow up call but since I am guessing he is in Calif. I will just say he is a pretty horse and he has a nice head shape and a soft eye.
