First time in saddle... :)

So this is my 1st time trying out CC saddle (well, technically 2nd as I tried it with saddle fitter in March). Critique is very welcome as always! (keep in mind both - I and my paint - are total beginners in jumping, but feel free to be harsh ). So far I'm planning jumping her a little from time to time just to do something different from flat work (because it seems to keep her pretty entertained). However I'm thinking about taking lessons with eventing instructor on top of my dressage lessons (may be starting July or Aug).

Cute girl. I'm not experienced enough in jumping for critiques, so no help here!

**** she is a cute little jumper, quite tidy for a beginner too! The angle that the video is taken from is not ideal for a critique but I would like to see more forward paces into the jump and for you to reach a little further up her neck as you jump. Your position looks lovely as you come around the corner at the beginning.

Have fun!

All horses deserve, at least once in their lives, to be loved by a little girl.

Thank you, Sarah! Great observations! (and while everyone was nice not to comment I'm all messed up AFTER the jump kinda letting reins go etc. ).

My saddle fitter (long time eventer) really liked her jumps when we were evaluating the saddle. Ironically enough she's the only one who likes her (because of the personality, she's extremely unfriendly to other people ). She was quite insistent that I have to start working on jumps with trainer. Well... Will see I guess. I often wish I'd be much better rider than I am to bring up her potential (if any lol!)...
