Barn Name: Sure, Tuff, and Flashy
Breed: Quarter Horse
About: Sure, Tuff, and Flashy Technically Flashy is my mom's horse, but he and Tanner are best buddies, so they are pretty much "our" horses. We got him when I was about 11 or 12, and he was very skinny when we got him. We bought him from a guy in West Virginia (same guy we got Tanner from) through the owner of the barn where we board. You could see his hip bones and ribs and he was obviously underweight. He was always hungry and even after he put weight on and actually got a little fat, he never lost his love for food. We always make fun of him because he gets so excited about food. He has a spunky personality and is a big goofball. He has four white socks and a star, strip, and snip on his face.
Activities: We've ridden him English and Western, but he seems to prefer Western since he can be a little on the lazy side. He has a very smooth jog and a long stride. He enjoys jumping but isn't that great at it. I'll never forget when I was in a show and competed in a jumping class. It was embarrassing to say the least, because he jumped the jumps like a grasshopper. Needless to say, that was the end of his jumping career!
