Some time ago, on a thread of mine inquiring about riding position and trail riding, you gave me the advice to "slouch" when feeling tense or anxious if I was having problems leaning back/sitting up instead of leaning too far forward. I went on my first real trail ride on Friday of around 4 hours or so, and reminding myself to "slouch" when I did not have the capacity to otherwise relax or adjust my position helped tremendously! While my riding is so far from pretty, I did not come out of my saddle on the rougher down-hill slopes, so that surely counts for something. So, thanks again!
