Maybe you can put in a little bit of time working at the stable to off set what your mom has to pay? I always had to work at home, doing various chores, and whatnot, and then my mom would pay for the lessons...also wound up doing in home doggie care while the trainer was away and that took off $ on my lessons too :) See if you can't reach some sort of comprimise, as 10$ per lesson isn't "that" much of a difference...I'm sure your trainer and your mom could come up with something for you to do!!! ;)

So I just found out its gonna be more exspensive to do Private then it is in a Semi Private lesson.
$50.00 dollars for a Private lesson and Group is $40.00 so mom just wants to continue doing Semi lessons they feel she isnt worth $50.00 but shes worth staying with for a good while.

    That is fine.

I am not going to leave but I don't want people make comments towards my Coach when honest mistakes happen all the time. even coachs can miss something.

I understand. Sunny isn't my mare though.

I have ridden with her for months and posted pics on here and no ones mentioned anything.
The 2nd time I ride Sunny and it happend again it was a little mistake most of the time she was trying to help the other student get her horse under control. I wasn't worried over her helping me more then her I feel i didnt get my moneys worth last yestrday but thats okay because I will get private lessons.

so a little mistake has been made doesn't mean that I need to leave my trainer. I think Charis needs to be told to keep her mouth shut on that. I am not saying other members are saying this. I am saying I dont like how charis has said, stuff when she doesnt know the whole story she says I make exscuses. I dont even do that.

I'm very sorry you feel that way. I really do not think anyone is being wrecklessly rude in their concern over tack on your mare; they are honestly concerned. No one wants you to leave over something like that. Stick with your private lessons, and keep learning from your trainer; if you and your family are comfortable with her, that is all that matters, not anyone's comments in a place like this. Keep your chin up, no one's trying to rip you apart for spite!!!!
