Heartland Fans

I have grown to love the show over the years. I am quite bias because we like right in where the show is shot. In fact I ride at the facility the show is shot at When I go out to ride, I don't really put much thought into it, but as I sit at home its quite fun to think its all here.
During the spring and summer, we use the same racetrack they use to get the horses in shape for hunt season. We also use the same outdoor arena etc that they use for all the racetrack related episodes, Tim's rodeo school and all rodeo shots scenes. We are also just minutes away from the trailer, the "dude ranch" and Heartland itself.

Those I just realized that I have photos from last summer of us riding where they shoot the show all the time. The "rodeo grounds" and the racetrack scenes are shot at the arena we ride at. Never thought to share photos of our schooling there because I'm there riding every day(or at least 4-5 days a week).
Thought they would be fun photos of it. I absolutely love the show because its shot right where we live. They mention my home town all the time in the show which to me is just so fun. The town of "Hudson" is just minutes away from our house and you can go down and watch them shoot the show all the time during the summer months.

The photos are from last summer. I just remembered I had them. We are riding in the outdoor arena alongside the racetrack which is where they shoot all the rodeo scenes and Tim's rodeo school. It's really fun to think about actually.

I can get some better photos once it stops being so cold and Im dressed warm enough to walk around the indoor arena to go out and take photos.

Who else loves the show?! anyone want me to get photos of any of the "rodeo" grounds or racetrack? or anything else?

I like the show, watch it off and on, but I'm not fascinated with it by any means.

Don't judge someone's horse or skill because they don't compete or work with a trainer.

Sometimes they're the most in tune with each other.

I was 110% in love with the show a few years ago. I still love it but now that I have my own horse, I'm not as obsessed as I was pre-horse stage. But I got the idea of Liberty from it and it holds a very special place in my heart. That's so cool that you live where it's shot at! All the good shows are shot in Canada lol. If I got to ride where the show was shot I think I'd faint! I'm a bit of a fangirl haha.

I like the show, and it's pretty cool near where they shoot, and ride at some of the shooting locations. I agree that I was more in tune to watching the show when I didn't have a horse (well pony lol) and when I didn't ride for a short time. Now that I have my own pony and ride, I kind of veered off from watching since December. I have to catch up a bit.

You know whats funny is years ago when they only had 1 season out, I attempted to get into it. For some reason I just couldn't catch onto it. It wasn't until they had 5-6 seasons out, that I tried to watch them again. I will admit that getting through the first season is a little tough. I think they also had a hard time developing the storyline back in the day, but its just so good. Some of the horse training can be a little cheesy, but overall I absolutely love the characters and how they developed them. I just love the show.

That is SO COOL! I used to be reallllly into heartland (it was my favourite show) two years ago. I don't know where I left off, but once Georgie came in and it started to seem like she was replacing Amy I started to lose my interest...
In talking about shows, on Tuesday I am doing some winter camp for 3 nights at the camp where the movie "camp rock" was shot. You know the one with Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers?
But man, that is just so cool!

I just never grew out of the pony crazy faze

I'm a biggg Heartland fan! I also live close to where it's shot; one of my friends is actually in one of the episodes. Small role, but still soo cool! :) And my teacher's daughter babysits one of the younger actresses - I have momentarily forgotten who.

That is super fun eh! We are in one of the episodes that aired this weekend. My girlfriends stud is also in the episode that airs Canadian Horses. My other girlfriend who does jousting is also in an episode.

Super fun show. If you stopped watching it, I recommend starting back at season one and binge thru the seasons. Amy is definitely not replaced and when you see what they end up doing with Georgie, you’re going to fall in love with her character.

Her private Instagram is fun to follow. She rides locally and does Hunters and Jumpers. She’s a phenomenal girl.

I love Heartland. I am not much into watching TV in general but I do like that show along with a few others.

@JoBlueQuarter - Which episode and part? Too neat!

I have always wondered.. is there really tens of thousands of acres to just ride on like they do in the show? Or is it mostly private land?

Oh you're so lucky! What I wouldn't give to be in that show!!

If I ever do come visit you, you're gonna have to introduce me to Amy
