He came from a local feedlot. That's about it on story!

I've been around horses since I was a little girl (I'm almost 30 now). Worked with horses at a local vet college on and off the last few years, including broodmares (got to watch several sweet babies come into this world!). I've just never had a horse of my own, so that's a brand new adventure. 🙂

My guy will be kept at a little barn near me and I'll be working with a trainer from the beginning.

Welcome to horse ownership and the forum! Horse ownership can be a very exciting, and rewarding experience! They do eat up quite a lot in the finance department, but it is worth it, in my opinion in the long run! Your guy looks like quite a cutie! :)
