Can you ride a horse while on your period

Hi everyone I'm new to horses actually I haven't even bought one yet but before I do I want to know can you a horse gelding or mare while on period

Yes you can. You can do just about anything with the right protection method. You can even swim with a good fitting tampon or Diva cup type device. (I don't lol.)

Personally though I prefer not to ride on the heaviest day of my cycle.

Like Summer said - you can do anything with the right protection.
It's mainly just if you prefer to ride or not when you are on your cycle.

So it doesn't make them antsy at all or anything because I'm looking a buying a little gelding I have Rodin a lot when I was younger (before I became a woman)but I had a bad fall and 10 years later am gettin back on I still am a little scared
