Smile First major show! HELP!!

HI I'm Mimi me and my pony Vaughn are doing our first major show on the weekend and we've never done one! We're both new to showing so I was wondering if you could give us some tips! Vaugh would really appreciate it and so would I! By the way its a three day so Cross Country, Show Jumping and Dressage so we're both really nervous! I'd really appreciate it if you replied! Thanks for reading!

Biggest thing I can say: Don't worry about everyone else. ENJOY yourself and have fun!

Also, don't get wrapped up in how other people are warming their horse up, or schooling their horse, or whatever. You do what you know works for YOUR horse. Come up with a game plan beforehand and stick to your game plan.

Smile, breathe & HAVE FUN! Don't dwell on mistakes, just keep moving forward. Keep hydrated (even if it is chilly/cold out you need to drink water). Looking forward to how it went and pix if you can!

Tips, breathe, smile and breathe some more. Have low expectations of ribbons etc, but high expectations of having fun, making it an enjoyable experience for both Vaughn and yourself. Hopefully you are schooling at home at a higher level then you are entering at the show, so everything should be easy for you, again breathe smile, take your time....

If this is your first major show you are bound to be a little nervous, we all were. Focus on having fun, think of this as a learning experience, and don't worry about where or even if you place. Good luck!

Just go to enjoy yourself and do the best you can, consider it more of a learning experience than a competition
I have to say that going to a One Day Event for your first show is a pretty huge move - Good luck
