First off-property lease!

So I'm doing my first off-property lease, and I'm not sure if it will be me paying for transportation and trailering the horse myself? What did you guys do? Thanks!

So you're doing a free/off property lease on somebody else's horse?

Either way, it'll depend what you've agreed upon with the horse's owner? When I've leased out one of my mare's off property to others they are always responsible for costs.

I'd say that they are responsible for costs of hauling her to their place. I'd be negotiably on the costs to haul her back whenever the lease is up---I'd consider paying that.
