Like I said I have no option. She has to be broke at 2. I'd love to wait until she's 3. I don't think it's fair to ask a horse to carry a rider before 3 but that's what is required by the course I'm taking. (The course requires that the horse be a 2 year old. And it's required for my major so there is no getting around it.) That being said I'm doing everything I can to give her the best chance at being ready at least mentally by 2 with starting her ground work and I'll work on ground driving her next spring.
