Very exciting! Your home sounds amazing. Those will be some lucky horses! I am back to horses after a 25-ish year hiatus. I think it's more fun & exciting the second time around!

I took a forty year. Break. Got off in summer of 1973 and went to college. Took a lesson in 2013 and couldn't get enough. When I was a kid there was a dozen horses and over 200 acres of pasture and piney woods. Corn and peas went to the horizon. I could ride away for half a day and come home a different route. Never had a lesson. The horses were fat and happy eating grass with a little hay and grain in the winter. Now it is 30 minutes in traffic to a barn where someone tells me to keep my heels down. Starting a lease in Dec and planning on riding at least every other day when the horse is up to it. Dressage lessons twice a week. Any 6' tall 200# men other than me? Do you feel funny riding in circles with middle school girls? Anyone here have Dehner Boots? I'm thinking about getting some. Thanks and happy Thanksgiving.
