head bobbing

My 23 year old gelding has started bobbing his head while standing in the pasture.Can someone help ?

was he vaccinated ? are there flies or gnats or mosquitoes after him ? is he drooling ?
is he sleeping ? is he in good weight ? It could be a disease, could be insects.
If you are concerned have another person go look at your horse. Have a Vet out.
No one on the internet can tell you if something is wrong with your horse.

It could quite possibly just be insects which you should be able to see flying around his face. If you don't see any or a good amount of repellant doesn't bring any relief call a vet.

Thanks I am going to call the vet out ASAP. Breaks my heart to think something could be going on with him.
