Red face Hi, Y'all!

Hello y'all, I'm Katy, but my user is CamelBone, because I have a camel bone knife, and love the movie Hidalgo. I live in the rural south, middle o' nowhereville, USA. I turned 18 in January. I love the color green, and you can usually find me outside gardening for my parents, riding horses, or inside doing a craft or reading a book. I love music, especially Dolly Parton or Loretta Lynn, and I go dove huntin' every weekend. I don't yet own a horse, but I help out at a local stable. I have 5 cats, and 1 dog. Nice meetin' y'all!

Greetings, and welcome!

I hope you are aware that initially you either have to share a picture of your (favorite) horse, or share an equestrian "war story".

Preferably both.... :)

Hello and welcome! :). Ditto the pictures! We enjoy the good and the bad stories from helping at stables:)

We also love gardening pics -- gardening is a lot of work and we are always happy to see the rewards of that labor:)

If you Dove hunt, you must have bird dogs? We like dog pictures, cat pictures, calves, piglets, baby goats ---- we just love pictures:)

Welcome! @mmshiro and @walkinthewalk are spot on with everything!

Sounds like you have some pretty awesome hobbies; reading, horses, hunting, crafts, gardening... I'm looking forward to your contributions to this forum (and I'm also looking forward to pictures!)

I love gardening, too! When the spring really gets into full swing, I can have a hard time deciding whether to work in my garden, or go for a ride. Can you guess which one usually wins out?
