Horse Trade Shows

Hi all,

I am going to be doing quite a bit of traveling throughout the United States this coming winter and I was looking to stop in at a few good horse or farm/ranch trade shows. I like learn about the equine industry in different regions and see what is unique in different states.

I am going to be spending lots of time in Texas, California, Florida, Oklahoma and Kentucky. I will be traveling between November and April, so specifically in that time frame would be ideal.

If anyone knows of some really good trade shows in those states during that time frame, let me know! I am beginning the planning stages of my time there and would like to work some of these shows in!

In early April is Equine Affaire at the Ohio State Fairground in Columbus, OH. It's relatively close to Lexington and is a huge event with a lot of vendors, demonstrations, and clinics. You can Google it. There's also Quarter Horse Congress later in the year, but I think you'll miss it.

National Cutting Horse Association has a nice trade show during the Futurity in Fort Worth Texas at the end of November, first part of December.
