I've always had horses, and my husband before marrying me knew I was crazy about horses, and how much I was involved with them, and he tried talking me out of it a number of times, with "how much they cost", "four wheelers are cheaper" blah blah blah I just ignored him as its all I've ever heard my entire life, no one in my family is a "horse person" they tolerated them but other then nothing else, I do however have little hope with my 5 year old nephew! .. anyways my most favorite mare got sick on me, and at the time I did what I had to do to keep up with the vet bills which was sold the other horses I had at the time and some of my other things to keep up with it, long story short we couldn't save her and had to put her down, the day I made the decision to end her suffering is the day my husband purposed to me.. not the story I thought I'd have for my engagement, but of course with a lost like her, I was devastated and horseless cause I sold the others to try and save her, so I told him I no longer wanted anything to do with horses, so I guess he thought it was the perfect time to make me his wife, not long after we were married I found myself googling horses all day long, looking at prospect driving him nuts, finally one day he told me when I was showing him this cute little dunskin filly I found online, he surprisingly told me I should buy her, shocking the crap out of me, and frankly I thought he was playing with me, but after 3 days of debating and, making sure he wasn't joking & talking to the owner, we bought my girl Chloe.. He finally realized how much horses ment to me, and not only that decided since I do a lot of the things he likes, he'd give horses the benefit of the doubt, and went on a trail ride with me.. he was the same way scared s***less of horses because growing up all he ever heard was how they were horrible and any chance they'd get they'd try to bite or kick you, so as his first experience I went to a guest ranch making sure the horses were bombproof wanted to make sure he had a good experience knowing **** well if anything bad happened he'd never trust them, and minus the saddle he had a good time, we got home and he asked if we could get him a horse so when I go trail riding he can come with me, so he knows I'm safe (we live in the middle of no where) so that's when we got Tramp, and now she's his buddy.. he'll help me around the barn, but the horses are my responsibility as he doesn't care for looking after them because he's not that into them which doesn't bother me any..

Anyways my long story was suppose to have a point, Don't try forcing it on him, have it in your mind its your thing, its your place to get away when you need too, and if he happens to come around great, if not it can be your hobby/peaceful place!

LOL...NO. You have nothing to worry about. You're going to be a hot commodity on the "available male riders" list! LOL

I'm not a complete idiot--there are parts missing!

What you have become is the price you paid to get what you used to want.
