Thumbs up Lincoln Horse Bix Apple treats

Hello,

Im fairly new around horses and was wondering if these treats would be fine to use ? Also if this is the best flavour to get. On the other hand i was looking to buy a likit but not sure if to get one because i heard they were full of sugar?

Thanks!

First determine WHY you want to get your horse a treat. Is it to alleviate boredom if he's stalled for long periods of time? You'll want something that takes a LONG time to devour. A stall toy would be better.

Is it because everyone else has one? Does it make YOU feel better to treat your horse? You probably don't need one and your horse won't care.

You can tell what's inside the treat by reading the ingredients. You're smart to care about sugar content.

When I give my horse a treat, it's to make me feel better. Sure they love it, but they don't need it ;)

Sometimes I wrestle with my demons. Sometimes we just snuggle.

Thanks for your reply, and i just wanted a couple to give after riding and when he comes to me in the field etc. Most people have treats for their horses and i just wanted to try them on the horse i ride but wasnt sure if these were okay?
