Adding a new horse to the herd is always heart attack material for the owner. I have had nothing but geldings for the last 25 years and believe me, even introducing geldings to geldings can get dicey.
I keep them in separate pastures for awhile.
A lot also depends on how the established horses read the new horse. It took me three months to be able to turn one gelding in with my three original geldings, yet another gelding fit right into the herd in less than 24 hours. I have learned over the years to watch how the established horses "talk" to the new horse.
Yours look to be at piece now:)
