As someone who never had children I have an uncanny feeling when a mare is in foal from an early stage. I am sure their eye changes.

More than once I have known the moment I collected mares from studs whether they were or weren't in foal. One mare I owned, the vet wasn't sure if she was or wasn't in foal. The other he was positive was. I knew my mare was, her eye was so mellow. The other I was sure wasn't and I was proved right!
All this was way before ultra sounds and vets PD them all. The second mare could well have lost it or re absorbed. Who knows?

Hi guys. Still no news from the vets. I tried taking some pictures from behind but it proved quite difficult, as every time I got her lined up, she turned around to come see me!! I managed to get a couple though, not sure if they are any good?

From those pictures I would say definitely!

See how the right side is flatter before bulging out and then angling in? The left is much more normal.

Thanks guys. STILL waiting for the results!! They took blood on Monday, it's now Friday and no answers. I'm not the best at waiting lol.
I did ring, but the receptionist was quite rude, and just said they will call when they are in, no estimate, nothing. Have any of you had this test done before and know how long it takes?
