new pony

We recently got a pony (on trial). I have a copy of her papers and have some questions...is there anyway to use them to track down her history as far as who has owned her in the past and anything else about her. The owners name on the papers is from 2009 and obviously not the same person that we got her from. It seems she has been passed around a bit and while she seems practically perfect to us, I'd love to actually contact a person who knows her and see if she had any vices. Also it seems that her sire and dam were each horse size, she however is just barely at 14hands, very petite. It makes me wonder if her growth was stunted.
Her registered name is A Vested Impulse, parents were Vested Pine and RL A Sudden Sparkle

Get in touch with the breed society, they might be able to help.

good old google....we tried for ever to find our ponys breeder,
then one day i was looking again on google and it was just there in front of me,i clicked on the name which turned out to be her son...and had a phone number and address.
we are now in contact again, and my daughter has become friends with her daughter.
and they only live about an hour and a half from us in whales!!
we have pics of my ponies family as they still own her mum and sister and we now know were and how she grew up...she was a loved family pony it was when they had to sell her that she got screwed up!!!
don't ever give up,you will find them one day:)

Yes, google those names, but if you don't find anything, post the info, along with a picture of your pony, on Facebook pages in your area (or the area where you think he came from) that are horse related. I was able to track down two previous owners through Facebook (2 different horses), and my 18 yr old Arab's original owner found me that way. She posted a pic and description, and within minutes, I had seen it and responded! We were both thrilled to find each other and are in regular contact now. She had to sell him when she got divorced and our horse was only 6 years old. But now, we have his entire history over 18 years, which is amazing! I got a lot of breeding and health info out of it, and the previous owners get updates on my Facebook page once in a while. He practically has his own fan club, LOL.

Contact the breed registry. Anything between 2009 and now is not something you will find there but prior they would have. For 2009 to present Facebook is a good idea.
