Post injury

My mare cut her back leg near the pastern about a week ago she was limping but still walking and trying to run on it and didn't not appear to affect n e tendons my question is how long do I need to wait to start working her again she doesn't appear to be limping n e more and the wound itself has mostly heald up. I'm afraid if I wait to long she will give us trouble when we go to ride her thanks for ur help

What does your vet say? It really depends on how deep it was, and what sort of care you did for it afterward.

If you're positive she's sound, and it was just a surface wound, and it's healed, then go ahead and work her.
Corporal and Palomine like this.
