Struggling to find someone to move my horses (in Florence, Oregon)

Hi,

I am moving my 2 horses from Florence, Oregon to Swiss Home in Oregon (about 30 miles). Right now I am struggling to find anyone to help me make the move. Can anyone please advise where I find someone? My phone number is 541 991 3384. I'm looking for the best price please!

Thank you,
Chris Landau

Try your local feed store. Put up an advertisement. You may find someone willing to trailer for you. Also state how well your horses load in the trailer. "loads well, doesn't kick..."

There is a group on Facebook called Pacific Northwest Horse Classifieds. I'd think that would be a good place to post.

There are also some horse transporters listed on Craigslist Portland -
This one is based in Bend:
https://bend.craigslist.org/grd/6107643549.html

This one is closer to you in Albany:
https://corvallis.craigslist.org/grd/6095620302.html

I know there are not many horse boarding places in Florence, but if there are any around the area you could stop in and ask if someone would be willing to haul for you if you paid well. I've had people haul my horses from boarding facilities.

There are also national horse transport services you can find on Google that regularly go up and down the I-5.

All good suggestions, I would also ask the local large animal Vet and your farrier if they know someone who hauls.

We grow too soon old, and too late smart.
