Question will gel gripping on jodhpurs ruin my wintec 2ooo seat?

so i have a wintec 2000 and i absolutely love it and it fits my boy so well, although im looking to buy some bare equestrian tights for Christmas. i am just curious to know if anyone out here has had experience with the gel grips ruining thee quality of the fur on the seat? all the nice ones with out the gel gripping are sold out in my sizes but im just worried that the quality of the seat will be ruined...

I'd wait for the non gel grips to be available. You have a saddle you like that has a finish that provides grip I wouldn't risk wearing it off or leaving behind a residue that caused damage.
Speed Racer, anndankev and boots like this.

I haven't used gel grip jodhpurs in a suede saddle but one of my pairs of joddies is really slippery and I DID NOT MOVE (like, could barely even move enough to sit a canter) in a suede saddle wearing them. You may find that problem is even worse in super grippy joddies.

It's one of the many reasons I've made the move to leather saddles.
