Hi everyone thanks for all the pointers! Its been a while since she has turned her butt on me or kicked out when standing, I have a kicking chain and it took her two kicks to figure it out. She lets me love on her in the turn out, (I think she will always be very territorial about her stall) I can see her thinking and hesitating to pin her ears when its feeding time. I think in the past she wasn't loved on as much so its very new to her, she does get happier after being ridden, I think the tail swishing is from frustration when I'm riding her , and annoyance when I'm grooming her. No kicking out anymore unless we just started riding and she's bored, (I'll usually just make her back up about ten steps). I do work with a trainer who I also purchased her from, I don't think she's ever been aggressive or dangerous to them or they would have fixed it, so they mainly focused on her training under saddle.
I would like to clear up the whole " I don't really like her", I didnt mean her in general, I meant this behavior, which to me, kind of overshadowed everything and frankly, just ****ed me off. I don't like it when horses disrepect me, especially when they are my own. I'm glad she's warming up to me and I appreciated all of your comments and suggestions :) thank you very much for the help,

P.S Porsches unwitchy personality is showing and she is extremely nosey, always pushing the polowraps off the trailer and trying to spook Maxx, my gelding, thankfully he has caught on and stopped untying himself and escaping.
Corporal and jmike like this.
