This isn't a training question, really, so I put it here.
I'm working with my mare on braking. She's not awful, just a little dull so I'm trying to tune it up.
However, I have heard in emergency situations, the one reign stop works amazingly well. I'm just concerned that my horse could flip over? Is this a stupid concern? Is there a way to avoid it? I'm paranoid jerking my horse's head around with her inertia going forward would cause a flip. Can someone please explain this to me?
