Hand Braided Reins and Rope Halters

I've now added rope halters to my inventory, with or without braided nosebands. So now I am offering reins, wither straps, leashes, collars, headstalls, rope halters and more!

Rope halters are made with either soft or firm rope(please specify) in the color of your choice! They are horse size and will fit most horses, for larger/smaller halters please inquire about sizing and pricing. Choose up to two colors for the noseband, there are hundreds of colors available.

Available colors for halter cord: Soft and firm- black, royal blue, imperial red, neon yellow, neon pink, turquoise. Soft only- neon orange, neon green, purple, kelly green, hippie(rainbow).

Without noseband- $15
With noseband- $20

I also have reins in stock ready to ship, can be in the mail by Monday! Custom orders also available.
8 ft long, adjustable and have snaps on both ends.

6 strand- $15(HF members only)
9 strand- $22

All shipping is $5.95 flat rate

These are useful items you might be interested in making. This was copied from a web site. I made my own. To secure it to a halter I installed and eyelet at each end and ran 3/6" wide elastic thro each to form a small loop which I simply knotted. These loops hold onto a halter but, unlike Velcro will let go if caught on something. The cord I used is fairly stiff, soft doesn't work as well. I folded each in half and stitched them onto the webbing. A knot at the bottom of each gives the cords a little more action. The cords are long enough to cover the nostrils. Because I'm reluctant to leave a halter on a horse, I'll only run the strap thro the lower part of the buck and use string around the top of the buckle and thro the hole. The string will break if the halter gets caught.
