Red face Equestrian apple watch users

I just recently got the new apple watch series 5 and I absolutely love it. My favorite use is tracking my workouts and rides. I was curious what other equestrians use it for ? Do you find it useful ? What are your most favorite and least favorite features ?

I don't have an apple watch, but I do have a fitbit. My only quarrel with it currently is that it count's horse steps as MY steps. If I go on a long ride then it essentially lies to me about how many steps I've actually taken! Although I imagine my fitbit friends are quite impressed with me.

to ride on a horse, is to fly without wings

I have a series 3. I absolutely love it! I love the step/workout log and the sleep tracker. I like that the faces are so customizable and I can choose what I want on the display. I got the version with cell service and I love that I can take it out for a walk or workout or shopping or whatever and not have to bother with having my phone on me. (Though I still take my phone on rides because emergencies, etc.) I like being able to put my boarding pass on it too when I fly, though at a couple smaller airports I still had to use my phone because the reader wasn't wide enough to stick my wrist in, lol.

I had a little rash from the band when I first got it but it turned out that the *tiny* little metal piece on the band has nickel in it, which I am allergic to. So I changed the band and haven't had any more issues. Really there isn't anything I don't like about the watch so far.
