Horse Facts, Medical Profiles. Anytime. Anywhere. (advertising)

Hey everyone,

I wanted to get some feedback (bad or good) on a company that I am starting! We are pre-product, but have been working with many breed and veterinary organizations and equine schools getting great feedback thus far. Many people like to refer to us as the "Carfax for horses" but really its a medical and financial management service for horse owners put on a shareable platform.

Overview:

It is an automated health management service that aims to build a better relationship between horse owners, horse buyers, and veterinarians by providing automated electronic medical and financial information anytime, anywhere.

We capture and store all of your horses medical and financial information (Coggins, medications, surgeries, vet visit bills, etc.) for you and continuously update it as new items come in.

The idea is that owners can reduce the amount of time spent on maintaining their records (or start keeping them) and have access to them at all times. Additionally, they can choose to share this with anyone you approve of (vets, potential buyers, trainers, prior to events, etc) Lastly, we hope to create a movement in which people request a report before buying a horse to create the most informed and ethical environment possible.

Our pricing strategy right now is $165 per year or just under $15 per month for the owner.

Would love to get any feedback or what more you would like to see in our company.

-Steven

Our vet uses https://epethealth.com/Home/Index where we have access to all the records for our horses, cats, and dogs. How is your planned service different?

On the sixth day, God created the Quarter Horse.
On the seventh day, he Painted the good ones.

Hey! Thanks for the quick response.

I have used epethealth with my veterinarian but recently they have stopped using it due to the issues they are having with there mobile app and the cost to the veterinarians. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to records at this time because they left the service.

To answer your question, in many ways we are very similar to epethealth in that we want to connect owners to their medical records. Some differences are that we put the owner in charge of the subscription and not the veterinarians. As long as the owner is subscribed, the records will always be available. Some other great features we are adding is the ability to practice telemedicine with your vet, pull in performance records, and allow the owner to keep somewhat of a diary on there horse to couple with the records. We also put the information on a shareable platform for potential buyers, vets, trainers, etc. that you grant access to! Lastly, we capture your vet bills for you to view and do some analytics on your history to project what costs you may expect in the future based on standard procedures and a few other items.

Thanks again!
