Windows 10

I downloaded windows 10. For the short time that I have played with it, I see a lot that I do like it - mostly just presentation/organization. At least I will no longer get that annoying "upgrade now" pop up. :)

Windows 10 make it easier to navigate certain things than Windows 8

Windows 10 is slower in loading at startup than Windows 8

Windows 10 has been reported to do sneaky things in the background with unwanted downloads and possible phising

Some of my friends have Windows 7 and say it is much better than Windows 8 or Windows 10

I upgraded my Laptop from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, 2 weeks ago.... so far so good.......

I have to upgrade Windows XP on my PC and have Windows 7 Pro for the upgrade, one day I will get around to it and make
a report here about Windows 7.....

Well, I hope you didn't pay for 10. I am amazed at how many undesirable "things" come along with it. Awfulness. It drops the view of some input back to the stone ages. If you have an iPhone, it's just great fun, not. The edge is like some unfinished project. I do like being able to scribble on webpages...but not much value to that.

I prefer 8. Took me FOREVER to get use to 8 but once I did it was great.

10? Not all that great.

Like all windows, 10 will be very buggy for a few months. Halfway through the year 10.1 will come out and be fixed. Then another half a year an upgrade will come and it will be "finished". It happened with Vista, 7, and 8.

When I get my new computer I'll probably go for 10 only because I can do a free upgrade. I could do with a new OS and like the direction that 8 & 10 are going..... even if I have to put up with a few bugs here and there! :)

I'm still on the fence about downloading 10 to my PC with 7 pro. 7pro seems to suit my purposes, altho it won't print anything because it has wordpad only which my printer doesn't recognize. No problem when I had the pc with Vista. I still think the best version was Windows 98. That one seemed to fix it's own glitches and performed many tasks better than the newer versions.
