Does anyone else volunteer at a Theraputic Riding Center?

I absolutely love Theraputic Riding, and was curious if anyone else here likes to volunteer or work at a Theraputic Riding Center.

I do....

I do any and all that is asked or I see needing done.
From barn chores needing done to...
I side-walk, spot, lead...prepare horse to getting riders astride and then do the "clean-up" after the lesson is complete.
I love to see the happy faces, the smiles and the enthusiasm "special" riders have...
I get to spend time with some of the kindest human beings on the planet and animals I have spent my whole life loving, breathing and trying to be with...
Between both special riders and the horses my life is greatly enriched...
I love it!!
...
Rawhide likes this.

The worst day is instantly better when shared with my horse.....

I havent, but when I lived in WV I was lucky enough to be able to volunteer my horse for a camp for adults with mental and physical disabilities....my horse and I did it for 2years back to back and loved every second of it!

I volunteer at a riding for the disabled in the UK and it is so rewarding seeing how the riders change so much when they are on horseback it's magical! I also have learnt so much from the staff as I don't have my own horse. We also get to support some of the disabled riders if they go to a competition which is great. I would totally recommend volunteering at a therapeutic riding centre for anyone!
